Two Arrested Following Traffic Stop and Drug Investigation in Lakeside

Lakeside – On January 26, 2026, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a traffic stop near State Route 260 and Yellowjacket Lane in the Lakeside area.
During the stop, deputies contacted two individuals identified as Tyler Corley (39) and Sara Courtney (38), both of Lakeside, who were wanted in connection with a prior firearms and drug-related offense and had outstanding warrants.
A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, during which deputies located approximately 24 grams of powdered fentanyl inside the vehicle, along with items consistent with the sale of narcotics.
Further investigation revealed the suspects had been staying in a hotel room located at the Hon-Dah Casino. With assistance from the White Mountain Apache Tribal Police Department, deputies obtained and executed a search warrant for the hotel room. The search resulted in the seizure of additional methamphetamine, a firearm, and currency.
Both Corley and Courtney were transported and booked into the Navajo County Annex. Charges include possession of narcotic drugs for sale, transportation of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of a firearm during a drug offense.
