Two Arrested Following Burglary Investigation

Show Low – On January 7, 2026, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office deputies, with assistance from the Criminal Investigation Division and the Major Crimes Apprehension Team (MCAT), executed a residential search warrant at a residence on the 8400 block of Antelope Drive in the Silver Lakes Estates area of Show Low.
The search warrant was related to an investigation into a residential burglary and motor vehicle theft reported on December 26, 2025, which occurred at a residence on the 1200 block of Brook Trout Drive.
As a result of the investigation, James Carlin (59) and Toshua McGrath (49), both of Show Low, were taken into custody without incident.
Both individuals were booked into the Navajo County Jail on charges including second-degree burglary, theft of means of transportation, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft of a credit card, and prohibited possessor in possession of a dangerous weapon. Carlin was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
