On June 30, 2021, at approximately 3:36 pm, the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding a single vehicle motorcycle crash which occurred on Lone Pine Dam Road near Burton Road in Linden, AZ.The reporting party advised he was traveling on Lone Pine Dam Road near Burton Road when he looked behind him and observed a cloud of dust. The single occupant and driver of the motorcycle, Jay Gibbons (61) of Linden, ultimately succumbed his injuries from the crash. The cause of this collision is still under investigation.
