Holbrook, AZ: On August 12, 2025, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of State Route 260 in Overgaard for a report of fraud involving approximately $85,000 in lumber.
Deputies and Detectives immediately initiated an investigation. Through their efforts, the location of the illegally obtained lumber was identified. To date, $84,000 of the $85,000 has been recovered.
Sheriff Clouse stated, “I am proud of the swift work by our Deputies and Detectives in recovering nearly all of the stolen property. Protecting the livelihoods of our community members and holding offenders accountable remains one of our highest priorities.”
