The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for daytime lane restrictions on US 60 east of Show Low Thursday, Oct. 9, and Monday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, Oct. 16, as work continues on a project to construct passing lanes.
Drivers should expect the following daily restrictions from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:
US 60 will be reduced to one lane only with alternating east- and westbound travel between Little Mormon Lake Road and Bell Spring (mileposts 345-348).
Vehicles will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car.
Drivers should plan for extra travel time and watch for construction workers and equipment while traveling through the area.
Restrictions will be lifted each day after work hours. No work is planned on weekends.
While the restrictions are in place, crews will remove concrete barrier and continue paving the new lanes. Temporary barricades will be in place outside of working hours.
